The properties of this material make fiberglass pet urns long-lasting and highly resistant. The basic structure of these pet urns is made from fibreglass, resin and gypsum to which several layers of varnish are applied, and finished off with a coat of varnish. The final result is a robust memento in attractive modern colours.
The first step in manufacturing a fiberglass pet urn is to create a structure from fibreglass, resin and plaster. To this, two or three thick coats of glaze mixed with plaster are applied. The pet urns are rinsed with water between each coating. Colours are then applied, then another coat of varnish. The mother-of-pearl design is picked out and cleaned with a knife, then a final coat of varnish is applied, the urn is smoothed off and polished, and the process is complete.
